Where we started
Backyard Games started the way most good things do. In a backyard, with people we love, and a game that kept everyone together longer than anyone planned.
Those moments stuck. So we built something that could recreate them. What began as a passion project has grown into one of New Zealand's most loved outdoor game brands, trusted by families, event planners, businesses, and anyone who knows that a great gathering deserves a great game.
What we make and why it matters

We also believe that play has the power to bring people together when it matters most. Each year we support a select number of non-profit charities and fundraising events by making our games available at no cost, because some moments deserve a great game regardless of budget.
